8:30 am and we've stopped at a roadside 'diner' - well a shack plus guy who is cooking some sort of Indian flatbreads. We have already driven past numerous places which looked good; then wound up here - sadly no eggs on the menu here. Still on the crazy cook duty thing; totally bugging me. Pointless. Plus I'll end up [and did end up] paying for a load of other people's breakfasts...

Day 72 en route to Delhi

Aaargh! I hate it when that happens! That's why I never go on dinner meets/reunions/group outings that involve a restaurant. Invariably it always happens so. In my case, I end up paying for other people's beer/wine (I don't drink, as you know). And if the group is >5, forget it. There's always at least 4 or 5 people who "forget" to factor in the tip, or who "forgot" that they ordered 3 beers instead of 1, etc. I feel your pain, dude!
