Well, it was hot on the beach! Just seemed to get hotter and hotter through the night - at one point it was 31 degrees C: just had to lie on top of the sleeping bag. Currently parked up outside the huge mosque at Adana (Sabancı Merkez Camii); found a post office and a good
(i.e. western style) loo. Both very rare in Turkey. Oddly there seem to be no post boxes as such anywhere - one has to post stuff via a post office. More ice lollies. 36 degrees. Pulled the Silk Road map out of my storage cupboard - we are now on the map as it were. Final thing for the day was passing through Batman en route towards Van.
